Matt Long received his MFA from Ohio University and his BFA from The Kansas City Art Institute. He is current an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi. A potter for 29 years, Long has had his work in national juried and invitational shows throughout the United States. He is particularly known for his bourbon bottles and whiskey flasks.

• Open to residents of the United States Submitted work produced within the last two years 

• Enter up to 3 pieces or sets per entry fee
• All exhibited work must be for sale
• Juried pieces from digital images must be in the exhibition with no substitutions
• Digital images will be accepted for jury and must be sent on a CD along with entry fee
• Functional and non-functional work accepted

• $30 entry fee for up to 3 pieces or sets for either exhibit
• $45 entry fee if entering both “BY THE BOTTLE” and “BY THE OUNCE” EXHIBITS
• Make check payable to LOUISVILLE CLAY
• If entering both the “BY THE BOTTLE” and “BY THE OUNCE” EXHIBITS, put all images on the same CD, include both applications, a $45 check, and a self-addressed stamped envelope in the same envelope for mailing.

• A 50% commission fee to The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft will be for all sales.

• The potter is responsible for shipping directly to The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft
• The Museum will provide insurance during the Exhibition and shipping back unsold work

• Up to two views per piece is acceptable for jury
• The JPG should be 300 dpi resolutions 
• Image size should be 1920 pixels on the long side
• No text on the image Submit images on a CD and indicate Entry 1, 2, and 3
• Write your name and “BY THE OUNCE” EXHIBIT on the CD
• The CD will not be returned
